About
4-H Mentoring of Utah County is a program which began in 2001 and is designed for youth, ages 9-15, and their families. Youth are matched with young adult mentors, who establish caring relationships with identified youth. All mentors are screened before being matched (interview, reference and background check). This program allows youth to develop their interpersonal and academic skills by participating in structured recreation, community service, and community youth groups.
Mentors will:
1. Be matched one-to-one with a youth
2. Meet with their mentee 1 hour each week
3. Build a relationship for a minimum of 1 year with their mentee
We are always in need of volunteer mentors! Visit our website or reach out to Brandon at brandon.summers@usu.edu
